In addition, Ebose asserted, “This is not just unfair. It is a violation of human rights.”

He is calling for stronger laws, real penalties, and true accountability. He is also pushing for inclusive education and accessible healthcare because every person with a disability deserves the opportunity to thrive.

The Edo State Disability Law exists but it is not enough to have it on paper. We need to see it in action. Therefore, we need to raise our voices, engage policymakers, and demand the full implementation of the Edo State Disability Law.

Finally, it’s important to remember that disability can affect anyone, at any time. Building an inclusive state is not a favour it is a right.
