Cecilia Ominyi writes a letter to her younger self reflecting on her challenges and dreams.

Even though Cecilia is young and in the process of becoming her dream self, she shares some lessons, she has learned to guide her journey through life. These lessons include:

“Love yourself and embrace who you are. Self-acceptance is your greatest strength. No one will see your worth more than you do”

“Never let anyone change your personality or core values. They make you unique. Hold on to them, even when others don’t understand or appreciate them”

“Stay focused on your vision. Don’t let distractions or challenges make you give up on your dreams. Keep pushing forward”

“Not everyone will love or accept you, and that’s okay. Don’t be discouraged if some people don’t see your value—nothing is wrong with you. They are simply among those who do not recognize your worth” – Cecilia Ominyi (We Can Work Participant, Abuja)
